SLAVIC COGNITIVE LINGUISTICS CONFERENCE - 2009 (SCLC-2009)
15–17 October 2009
The Slavic Cognitive Linguistics Association (SCLA) in co-operation with the Department of Czech Language and Theory of Communication of the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague kindly invites you to the 9th Slavic Cognitive Linguistics Conference (SCLC-2009).
The conference will take place in Prague from 15 to 17 October 2009. Conference program will include papers concerning all aspects of Slavic languages (phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, sociolinguistic and broadly cultural aspects) from the perspective of cognitive linguistics.

Important information:
- Presentations will be given 20 minutes plus 10 minutes for discussion.
- Language of the presentations may be English or any other Slavic language.
- Participants who did not pay the registration fee of 100 Euro yet can pay upon their arrival in cash or via a credit card.
- Registration takes place on thursday October 15 between 5 pm and 6 pm or on friday October 16 between 8.30 and 9.00 am.
- Conference takes place at the main building of the Faculty of Arts, Charles University (nám. Jana Palacha 2, Prague 1 - Google Maps). The thursday programme will be held in room number 18, the friday programme in rooms number 1, 18 and 104.
- The conference dinner takes place in the restaurant Moravský archiv vín (http://www.moravskyarchivvin.cz/).
- You will receive the book of conference abstracts upon registration.
