Odborné zaměření / Main Research Interests
Zkoumá čtení a čtenářství u dětí a dospělých. Dlouhodobě spolupracuje s kolegy z různých oborů humanitních a sociálních věd, jejichž metody přejímá a kombinuje. Zabývala se např. čtením z mobilních technologií (kvant. šetření) či vlivem literárního stylu na čtenářskou empatii a představivost (experimenty). Nyní pro výzkum čtení rozvíjí především kvalitativní metody (rozhovory, ohniskové skupiny, Q metoda). Vede mezifakultní skupinu Integrální výzkum textu a četby (PRIMUS/20/HUM/005) zaměřenou na školní i mimoškolní četbu dětí ve věku 8–12 let.
